We saw a need, and we had to help...

What if we can ask donations from friends to have a weekly feeding program? What if we can pool our resources together to ensure that the kids are given food? How can we do it?

These are ideas and questions that came to mind when we started with the vision of having a feeding program back in April 2013.

Founders Pastor Choi Titong, Dawn Cabigon and Benedict Francisco got together with Pastor Buddy Gallo, senior pastor of the Reaching Out Christian Ministry to share a burden to feed the hungry children and the vision to have a movement that they will call "Feed Rizal".

This  feeding program would reach out to children belonging to the poorest of poor communities in Rizal. It will not only feed but nourish the kids through a simple and sustained program of providing nutritious meals 3-4 x a week.

FEED RIZAL was formally launched in June 8, 2013, with an initial funding of P10,000 donated by the church mates & friends of Benedict from Doha Qatar.  

With this seed money, the church workers themselves gave what they can give to the cause & solicited donations also from families & friends.

About sixty  (60) undernourished kids were the first beneficiaries of FEED RIZAL. 

From then on, the FEED RIZAL team has been preparing nutritious meals & serving this to Rizal’s most needy children.Aside from feeding the children, parents were also  educated on the basics of nutrition and to be resourceful in preparing nutritious meals with whatever budget they may have.

​It is amazing how God works! From providing 60 meals per week, the program has grown to be a channel of providing thousands of meals per week by the end of 2014. 

As a response to this bigger call, Feed Rizal will be launched as a non profit organization called Reach Out Feed Philippines Inc. on December 2014.
